Chapter 518: A sense of calamity
Almost as soon as matters on Earth were settled, Qin Xiaoxia's Thoughtform appeared on Altar Mountain once again.
He witnessed the astonishing effects of the demonized Flower of Life firsthand. Wogevde's physical constitution was so poor that he could not digest its power at all.
Instead, vast amounts of vitality were stored throughout his body, creating an ability that was not quite an ability: regeneration. As long as the Flower of Life's power had not run out, and he was not killed outright, any injuries he sustained would heal quickly.
Yet Qin Xiaoxia was more concerned about the mountain than Wogevde's subsequent grand display of imperial majesty.
The intense tremors and changes in the sky earlier had actually resulted from Earth's world power piercing through and colliding with this world.
On closer examination, he found that the oppressive sensation his Thoughtform felt in the Otherworld had noticeably eased, at least around this mountain.
Finally, a trace of Earth's power has invaded this place!
What struck Qin Xiaoxia as particularly strange was that, although he had never sensed this world's world consciousness before, it seemed a little... sluggish?
That tremendous collision just now had been World Mother taking advantage of the Summoning Ritual to breach this world's barrier for an instant and send a trace of her power inside. In effect, she now had a faint fix on its coordinates.
And the extension of World Mom's power had yet to recede. It simply had not taken deep root yet.
Even so, the collision between their world powers had been extremely violent, yet this world's reaction had not been nearly as strong. At least, there was no obvious sense of its world power gathering in greater force.
