A Category One incident
The other two went deathly pale at the sudden turn of events. Old Jin pulled them backward, sending them tumbling to the ground, but the moment they landed on the vines, they sprang up as though pricked by needles.

One of them shouted, and the other two quickly got under his arms and dragged him away.
"Pull together!"
"It's no good! These things are too tough! We can't pull him loose!"
The vines were immensely strong. Even with all three men pulling together, they could not break free.
"Take off his shoe! Get his shoe off and cut his trouser leg open!!"
Thankfully, their regular training and excellent physical conditioning had not gone to waste. They reacted immediately, one drawing a knife while the other helped pull off the shoe. A few quick cuts sliced open the trouser leg.
