Qin Ruobing is a concubine-born daughter of Qin Chaoyang, a member of Prince Yong's lineage. Having received fewer cultivation resources than direct descendants, she went to the frontier to accumulate merit and seek an Innate breakthrough through her own efforts. 135 157

While stationed in Changping County, she serves as a senior figure in the Demon Suppression Department. She is burdened by the threats posed by the Black Mountain Bandits, the Scent Worship Cult, demons, and Wicked Spirits, and pushes for retaliation when her subordinates are killed. 25 31

She notices Lu Changsheng's unusually solid martial foundation shortly after meeting him. Over time, she promotes him, explains martial insights, assigns him important missions, and treats him as one of the few promising talents under her command. 18 68 74
