Thin plumes of smoke and the acrid stench of sulfur rose from the shattered ridge. The violent impact sent loose stones and gravel tumbling into the valley below with a long, rustling hiss.
At the center of the crater in the ridge, a white spherical object opened, and a muscular, black-haired young man stepped out in a strange battle suit. A machine resembling an earmuff covered his left ear, connected to a display over his left eye. A brown, monkeylike tail was wrapped around his waist, and his entire body radiated a savage, evil aura.
"This planet is worth quite a bit. It should fetch a good price, but I'll have to clear out all these worthless creatures first. What an irritating chore."
His long, black, spiky hair hung down to his waist, while the device over his ear kept beeping as it processed data. The strange young man raised an eyebrow and murmured in surprise.
"The strongest power level on this planet is actually 2,400. That's already higher than mine used to be, and there seem to be quite a few other respectable power levels too. Interesting. These primitive natives should provide plenty of entertainment while I conquer this planet."
