"Sister..."
Shinobu Kocho stiffly turned her head to look at the beautiful woman holding her in her arms. The familiar face buried deep in her heart surfaced once more. Her voice trembled, and tears streamed uncontrollably from her eyes.
"Shinobu, you're my pride and joy. You've already done so well!" Kanae Kocho gently stroked Shinobu's hair, smiling with tender affection.
Looking at Kanae Kocho's utterly untainted soul, Aizen said, "That will be enough reminiscing between sisters. Come with me, Kanae Kocho."
Hearing Aizen speak behind her, Kanae Kocho stiffened. She patted Shinobu's back and gave her a gentle smile. "I have to go now. Take good care of yourself. We'll have a chance to see each other again."
She stood, stroked her little sister's head, and smiled gently before turning to walk toward Aizen.
"Sister!" Shinobu reached out to catch Kanae's hand, but her fingers passed straight through her body, grasping nothing. Her ethereal purple eyes stared blankly in the direction where Kanae had vanished. The kindly-looking man in glasses and a white haori watched her with a broad smile.
"Give her back... Give my sister back!"
Shinobu screamed hysterically. Rage twisted her once-pretty face, and a vein bulged on her smooth forehead. She wanted to tear apart that revolting false smile on Aizen's face.
Hummm-
She was only a few steps from reaching Aizen's sleeve when an invisible pressure abruptly crushed her to the ground. Dust coated her beautiful, butterfly-patterned haori.
After drawing Kanae Kocho's soul into the Hōgyoku, Aizen looked at Shinobu glaring at him through clenched teeth. His gentle smile deepened. "A splendid performance. Just right for a little after-dinner entertainment."
"You've done very well to come this far with mortal bodies."
He surveyed the other eight Hashira, all grievously wounded and unconscious, before returning his gaze
