The second stage of the Chunin Exams.
Simply put, it was extreme wilderness survival.
Each team was randomly given either a Heaven Scroll or an Earth Scroll.
All they needed to do was collect one Heaven Scroll and one Earth Scroll.
Then make their way through the Forest of Death to the designated location within five days.
That would count as passing the exam.
That condition alone guaranteed that at least half the participants would be eliminated.
Perhaps even more.
As for the final rendezvous point, it was the Central Tower in the middle of the forest.
Quite a few people thought themselves clever.
They chose to set traps near the Central Tower, then sit back and reap the rewards.
Little did they know.
If they ran into someone with cheat-level power, their little scheme would be nothing more than child's play.
"You have ten minutes to prepare. After that, you'll enter the Forest of Death and begin the exam."
"Remember, once you enter the Forest of Death, you must stay inside for five days, even if you withdraw."
After that.
Each team sent one person to collect its scroll.
"Yemu, if we meet in the forest, I hope you won't hold back."
Sasuke Uchiha walked over alone and spoke to Yemu, who was leaning against a rock.
"Don't worry. If you run into me, you'll just have to consider yourself unlucky."
Yemu turned his head, a friendly smile on his face.
But.
For some reason.
Sasuke Uchiha kept feeling as though a demon lurked behind that smile.
His heart suddenly began to race.
Was that killing intent?
Cold sweat dotted Sasuke Uchiha's forehead. He wondered who had provoked this guy.
"Then... good luck."
Sasuke Uchiha's gaze flickered slightly, and he left.
He really didn't want to believe it.
