Ōnoki and the others were startled again.
What was going on?
"What are you standing around for? Come in!"
The doctor's voice rang out, snapping them out of their shock!
Ōnoki moved forward first. He dared not land, instead using Dust Release to float in the air as he slowly advanced.
Like the doctor, he seemed to pass through a curtain and vanished.
"Come on over. It's safe here!"
Ōnoki's voice immediately trembled, making it clear that the sight inside had shaken him deeply.
Kitsuchi went second.
He cautiously walked to the cliff's edge, glanced at the dizzying abyss beneath his feet, swallowed, then slowly extended one foot.
Closing his eyes, he stepped down.
There was no sensation of falling, only the feeling of solid ground beneath his foot.
Kitsuchi's eyes flew open, and he looked down. It was indeed a bottomless abyss, but how could this be?
He summoned his courage and moved his other foot off the cliff as well.
Both feet felt as though they were planted on solid ground.
Only then did he relax and start walking forward.
Like the two before him, he passed through the curtain and disappeared.
Kurotsuchi followed, along with the others.
As Kurotsuchi stepped through the curtain, the scenery before her changed completely.
Rows of buildings stood ahead.
She looked down and found that she was no longer standing over a cliff.
Shock appeared on her face. Was this another space?
Impossible. Who could maintain an entrance like this indefinitely?
The doctor continued leading the way, explaining as he walked:
"This is science!"
"This place is just a valley. It only looks like this after Lord Amado Sanzu's repeated modifications."
"Remove this Scientific Ninja Tool, and all you'd see is a small, hidden valley!"
"I dare say Kara's technology is the
