Yunlin County Campaign

Initially a low-profile power in Yunlin County, the Office expands its recruitment as the Nine Evil Sect becomes a justification for intervention. Manpower shortages lead Fang Yue to assign the elderly Yi Yang to the Archive Hall rather than active investigations 29 30.

Qi Shujian’s arrival changes the county’s balance of power. He directs a joint purge of the sect’s Yunlin Branch Altar, drawing on Office branches, families, gangs, and martial halls. The expedition leaves Cloud Pattern Town’s branch more than half empty, with minimal patrol coverage 45 46 47.
