Father and Son Want to Meet!

"Yeah!!!"

This time, Kakashi Hatake showed no dissatisfaction with Hikaru's rude behavior. He quietly nodded and followed Hikaru out of the Ninja Academy toward the prison.

"That place isn't somewhere a little brat like you can stay for long. If you have something to say, say it quickly. Don't say your uncle here doesn't show you any consideration."

Hikaru would not casually wander around the prison with nothing better to do. Even if Hatake Sakumo was being held there, it made no difference. Ordinary people would not like that damned place. Aside from carrying out missions, this was Hikaru's first time voluntarily heading to Konoha Prison.

Kakashi Hatake said nothing and silently followed behind Hikaru.

Hikaru was actually rather curious. Why had this little guy suddenly wanted to visit his father in prison? He had even waited outside Hikaru's house in the middle of the night. Who knew what he had been thinking? Couldn't he have simply asked someone from the Uchiha Clan to pass along a message?

Before long, Hikaru and Kakashi Hatake arrived at Konoha Prison.

"Sir." The guards at the prison entrance respectfully saluted. Hikaru waved a hand. "I need to go inside. Just mind your own business and don't worry about me."

Hikaru took out his identification badge for them to inspect. Even though he and the broadcaster were Anbu Ministers and Konoha's upper echelon, they still needed to verify their identities before entering a critical area like the prison.

"Yes!!!" After checking it, the guard returned the badge to Hikaru. Hikaru crooked a finger at Kakashi Hatake. "Come on, let's go in."

Hikaru led Kakashi Hatake through the entrance and into the prison. The moment they entered the passageway, an oppressive atmosphere washed over them, along with the scrutiny of sensory-type ninja.
