Kitsuchi was tall and burly, built like a gigantic ape, yet he had produced a beautiful, sexy daughter. It had to be said that his family's genes were a little bizarre.

Because of his imposing stature, even though Kitsuchi did not speak loudly, his voice still sounded deep and muffled.

"Because they're afraid of losing!!!"

Ōnoki's tightly furrowed brows relaxed. He sighed and said, "Sunagakure can't afford to lose right now. In order to stabilize the village and put Fourth Kazekage Rasa in power, they didn't hesitate to start a war. But if they lose, they will face punishment from the Daimyo of the Land of Wind."

"Giving up their immediate interests is somewhat irrational, but in the long run, as long as they can win and satisfy the Daimyo, it will all be worth it. The prerequisite is victory. That is why Sunagakure chose to give up part of its interests in exchange for us declaring war on Konoha."

"If Sunagakure alone wants to defeat Konoha, the hope is slim, especially with Uchiha Hikaru holding the line. But once we agree to Sunagakure's request and declare war on Konoha, the chances of victory will keep increasing."

Kitsuchi nodded as if he understood. He did understand, though not entirely. Fortunately, he did not need to rack his brains over it. Whatever his father Ōnoki told him to do, he would do. There was no need to think or agonize over so much.

Point where to strike, and strike there. It was that simple.

"It hasn't been easy." Seeing Sunagakure sacrifice so much for its village, Ōnoki could not help sighing. Fortunately, the Daimyo of the Land of Earth was not such an idiot. Otherwise, Iwagakure would not be living much better.
