The Ten-Tails' long tail lashed toward the two of them. It was still in a very passive state, and the only thing it could move and use was that strangely shaped tail.
That made Namikaze Minato even more curious. Just what did his teacher want from the Ten-Tails?
"It really is ugly." Looking at the hideous Ten-Tails, it was hard to connect it with Kaguya Otsutsuki, the absolute queen. Hikaru took the kunai from Minato's hand and slashed at the tail sweeping toward them.
"Awooo!!!"
The Ten-Tails let out a miserable cry. Its attack was fast, but Hikaru was faster. He easily severed its tail—only a portion of it, of course. Hikaru did not need much.
"Let's go."
Namikaze Minato stared blankly as Hikaru struck and then prepared to leave. This did not seem much different from not coming at all, did it?
What exactly did his teacher want?!
Watching the severed tail on the ground continue to writhe as it moved toward its main body, Namikaze Minato was somewhat bewildered. Still, he placed a hand on Hikaru's shoulder and took him out of the Four Red Yang Formation.
"Tired?" After leaving the Ten-Tails' side, Hikaru looked at the slightly breathless Namikaze Minato and asked.
Namikaze Minato was speechless. "Teacher, using the Flying Thunder God Technique consumes a lot of Chakra too, okay?"
"Oh, is that so? Then Hatake Sakumo's bet with me is pointless." Hikaru replied blandly.
"Ah?! A bet?! What kind of bet?!!" Namikaze Minato was truly dumbfounded this time.
Hikaru raised the kunai in his hand. It was stained with the Ten-Tails' blood and bits of flesh. There was not much, but it was already enough for him.
Hikaru's actions drew Madara Uchiha's attention. He could not understand the point of what Hikaru had done. He had
