In Blind Town, inside the lightless inn room, two identical-looking girls were communicating mind to mind. They were Vesir and the phantom from another World Line created by the Illusion Mirror Dragon.

After obtaining the Volition spell spirit, Vesir had created a small Miracle that allowed high-speed information exchange between two souls. But this Miracle had one enormous side effect: the two people's personalities and memories were very likely to become confused. For Vesir and the phantom, however, this side effect was practically nonexistent, because the phantom was Vesir's shadow.

After obtaining all the other party's spellcraft knowledge, Vesir felt that her Mind School was almost touching the threshold of the Holy Domain. She looked at the phantom in the darkness and said sincerely, "Thank you for the trouble."

"It's no trouble. I'm the one who benefited the most," the phantom said. "If there's nothing else, I'll go back."

"But are you really going to carry out that plan?"

Vesir said nothing, and the phantom fell silent as well, slowly dissolving into the air and vanishing without a trace.

"Illusion Mirror Dragon..." she murmured softly.

In the past, her spellcraft realm had been insufficient, so she had thought the Illusion Mirror Dragon had truly summoned a phantom from another World Line to communicate with her. But now, it seemed that this so-called "self from another World Line" was merely a phantom the Illusion Mirror Dragon had pieced together at random by extracting her memories and blending them with other spellcraft knowledge from the Void Realm.

Simply put, this was actually the Illusion Mirror Dragon helping her steal knowledge from the Void Realm. As for "herself from another World Line," that was just a character setting to make
