In the Wishing Pool, Little Dream lay on a swim ring, drifting back and forth through the water.

She looked at the sky divided into three colors, opened her mouth wide, and yawned, her five tails swaying. "When are the masters coming back...?"

In truth, she was not as bored as she looked. As the Dream Awoken God of the Dream School, all the world's knowledge concerning dreams might flow through her domain. Aside from the few gods connected to the Dream School who could share in those benefits, she had practically taken the lion's share of the Dream School's development, increasing in value at every moment.

The best part was that although the Dream School was not as broadly applicable as the Gluttony Faction, and arcanists rarely slept, most ordinary people still dreamed. When they dreamed, it was equivalent to advancing the development of the Dream School. Even if it was subtle and slow, its strength lay in sheer numbers and long duration. So from now on, even if no one cultivated the Dream School, with the Dream Awoken God gathering the knowledge, the Dream School would still continue moving forward.

Gods were closely tied to the development of spell schools. If the development of spells was insufficient, gods could not be born; when spells grew stronger and became widespread, the gods' power also increased along with them. However, even Demigod Arcanists rarely knew this, let alone the common masses.

The real reason Little Dream was so eagerly waiting for her masters to return was that she was a little greedy. Although she was not hungry enough for it to affect her performance, after so long without eating dreams, her mood still turned sour.
