Tama Hill touched the milky-white water of the Wishing Pool with the tip of her toe. The water was a little warm tonight. She dove in like a fish, swam two laps, then leaned against the edge of the pool, her dripping black hair falling past her collarbones and meeting the pool water that lapped over her chest.
She let out a long breath. Every muscle in her body relaxed, and she could not help arching her chest up and bending her waist back. Beneath the surface, her toes stretched taut as she took a lazy stretch, sending two arc-shaped ripples across the water.
