Alien Domain Stellar Sea, High Heavens.
Eight bizarre trails of different colors, containing the might of thrones, remained stubbornly anchored in the deep void like venomous stingers plunged into a colossal prey.
They came from Demon God territories throughout the Universe—the decayed rot of Mock Abyss, the bewitching desires of enchantment, the deathly silence and extreme cold of the Black Sea, the invisible curses of Ash Ruins, the razor-sharp slaughter of Sharp Prison... They represented the extended will of the alliance of Gods' Proxies from all eight directions.
Just moments ago,
these eight trails had still been like boiling torrents, tearing through the Stellar Sea in a mad rush, each terrified of falling a step behind.
Yet now,
the boiling had ebbed, and the clamor had fallen silent.
Though they still existed, like Starry Rivers frozen upon a dark canvas, flowing with a pollution aura that set one's heart trembling, they were no longer as frantic as before.
Deep space had fallen into an utterly unnatural stillness.
Within Mokai territory, atop that enormous rotting planet, the slit of a ghastly pale vertical pupil narrowed slightly. What flickered in its depths was no longer the ferocious certainty of victory, but an almost imperceptible...
stagnation and doubt!
Around the throne, several other Mock Abyss Deputy Executors simultaneously turned toward Mokai, frowning slightly.
"Something's wrong. With all eight sides moving together, Formless Sky Demon can still hold them off?"
"Forget Star Ascension—he hasn't even condensed his natal stars yet. How can he withstand the combined might of so many thrones?"
"That's right. This is absolutely not something a Titled Sky Demon should be capable of..."
"Bullshit! If Formless Sky Demon were ordinary, would Flesh God Master have set its sights on him?"
Mokai roughly cut them off, concealing the doubt in its eyes
