Background

Mu Lingluo was born into the Mu Family with extraordinary strength and began martial training at four years old. Her power made other children fear and avoid her after she unintentionally hurt them, leaving her isolated despite the affection of her parents and grandfather. The family responded to her talent with an exhausting regimen under five masters, covering internal energy, swordsmanship, body tempering, movement techniques, and Martial Dao history. 118 121

As a child, she began meeting Jiang Changsheng in dreams. His guidance visibly improved her martial arts, but her parents did not believe the dreams were real, so she kept him secret and came to eagerly await each new encounter. 123

Mu Lingluo is the reincarnation of Hua Jianxin, the White-Clothed Guard woman who once stood against imperial power in Great Jing. Her awareness of this past life later became an important obstacle in defining her own identity while cultivating toward Great Luo. 625
