Background

Lin Ye cultivated the Nine Yang Divine Skill from childhood, producing Nine Yang True Qi and giving him physical qualities beyond those of ordinary adults. His parents left him a mysterious jade pendant, which he later opened with Nine Yang True Qi to obtain the Dragon-Elephant Prajna Skill, Phoenix Dance Six Illusions, and Nine Swords of Dugu. 2 8

His initial Martial Soul tests revealed the Begonia Flower Martial Soul and a golden longsword capable of piercing bluestone, while his third Martial Soul remained unawakened. Believing his Martial Souls could reveal information about his absent parents, Lin Ye committed himself to becoming powerful enough to search for them. 8 9

At Nuoding Academy, Lin Ye completed the foundational curriculum in little more than three months and applied for graduation as a first-year student.
