Yet in the next instant, an even larger silver wolf appeared behind Phoenix and bit straight at her.

This great silver wolf possessed a powerful body far surpassing that of humans and even divine beasts. Its ghastly green eyes were as large as bells in the darkness, and the pale fangs protruding from its mouth could easily bite through the toughest metal.

This was the giant wolf that Voban had transformed into through the Authority of "Greed Wolf Pack." In this state, Voban possessed the God of Sun's divine "Blessing of Light," granting him great resistance to solar attributes. He could transform the two summoned demonic wolves into giant werewolves, and the giant wolves inherited part of that solar resistance.

The great silver wolf's appearance had been far too sudden. Almost as soon as Phoenix had killed the two giant werewolves, the silver wolf Voban had transformed into appeared behind her and bit down on her.
