In December, I had roughly completed what I set out to do, gradually drawing things together and unfolding them. The characters who would appear in the final volume had also more or less shown their faces. As for the Great Dao Contest and the intricate, tangled relationships among the Dao Ancestors, I wrote them slowly and with great difficulty, but I was very satisfied. I had always wanted to write a scene with such majestic grandeur. Of course, my writing was still immature, with many shortcomings.
Although this month I only ranked seventh in the category, the total number of monthly votes was the highest yet, nearing a thousand votes. So thank you all very much!
The works ahead of this book had always been ahead of it. The only surprise was that Xianxia, unlike in the previous few months, did not have three books enter the top ten of the overall rankings. So, to borrow a line from the book: others may be leaned on, but not relied upon. Heh heh.
Step by step, many old friends were still here, and many new friends had joined. This book was gradually nearing its end and would probably be finished by the end of February. During these next two months, there might not be many extra chapters, because I needed to ensure the quality of the ending.
