The Strange Video

Ordinarily, when a video was opened, it should have started playing from the beginning, or resumed from the point where it had previously been closed.

But the content playing now was something Lin Shen had never seen before.

In other words, what was playing now was footage from after Lin Shen had closed the video.

The person in the video was still playing games, but the game he was playing was no longer the one Lin Shen had seen before. He had clearly switched to another game.

"Intelligent Brain, has this video been playing in the background the whole time?" Lin Shen asked.

"The video was not playing in the background. It was closed earlier," the Intelligent Brain replied clearly.

"Then that's strange. If it wasn't playing in the background, why would it open to later content?" Lin Shen tried opening and closing it several more times. Each time, it opened to footage he had never seen before, completely different from what had played previously.

It was as though, after Lin Shen had closed the video, its contents had continued playing nonstop.

It did not feel like watching a video. It felt more like watching a livestream or a television program.

But the chip was clearly just a storage device, filled with recorded videos. How could it possibly be a livestream, let alone a television program?

"Why exactly did you call me here? Just to show me this?" Tian Xin asked suspiciously as he watched the holographic image.

"Can you see the person in the image?" Lin Shen could only suppress his doubts for now and point at the person in the image as he asked Tian Xin.

"Nonsense. My eyes aren't blind. Of course I can see there's a person in the image." Tian Xin curled his lip.
