Because the particles in the Law Array were arranged in an orderly fashion, the particles Lin Shen fed into it were not one or several isolated particles, but an entire sequence of particles inserted all at once.

Lin Shen could not control it himself. He had never had much understanding of the Law Array, and the array itself was merely operating under the influence of the Three Stars System, with three particles as its core.

Lin Shen had originally intended to try controlling this array that resembled a Small Universe and feed one or several particles into the hairpin.

Naturally, things did not go as he wished. A sequence of particles spiraling in a bizarre pattern was fed into the hairpin.

After that particle sequence entered the hairpin, it continued operating according to its own pattern. Even the residual particles within the hairpin were stirred into joining the sequence.

Lin Shen watched helplessly as the hairpin gave off a green glow, then floated up by itself. Strange crystalline flashes appeared within it, as though countless densely packed crystal lights were flowing and flickering.

Then Lin Shen saw that the hairpin's crystals seemed to possess life and actually began growing on their own.

That was right—they were growing on their own. The missing portions were gradually filled by newly formed crystals, though they looked somewhat different from the original.

Lin Shen went numb. He had only wanted to try controlling the Law Array, never expecting something so bizarre to happen.

In only a short while, the hairpin seemed to have shed its mortal shell and exchanged its bones. It had become a complete phoenix-head hairpin, translucent and radiant in blue-green crystal.
