Lin Shen was just about to follow when Deng Family's Second Brother, dressed all in black, blocked his path.
"Kid, your name is A Tian, right? Come with me." Deng Family's Second Brother snapped his fingers, and two black-clad divine beings immediately came over, pinning Lin Shen between them on either side.
"Young Master A Duo saved my life. I have to follow her," Lin Shen hurriedly called out.
During the past few days aboard the spaceship, he and A Duo had gotten along quite well. Though he had intended to make use of her, she seemed to have a favorable impression of him. She should not simply abandon him, right?
The woman and A Duo both turned to look at Lin Shen when they heard him. The woman glanced at Lin Shen, then shifted her gaze to A Duo. Though she said nothing, her meaning was obvious—she was asking A Duo whether Lin Shen should be taken along as well.
"It was a mere helping hand. Don't take it to heart. If fate allows, we'll meet again." A Duo gave Lin Shen a dashing wave, then turned and left without another word.
Lin Shen froze. A Duo had not treated him like this when they had chatted before. Why had she suddenly become like this? She was tearing down the bridge after crossing the river.
This bastard! Lin Shen cursed A Duo's shamelessness in his heart, but there was nothing he could do.
Fortunately, he had never expected A Duo to be a good person. He had only wanted to use her to escape that enormous Neutron Star.
The woman gave Lin Shen a puzzled glance before turning and leaving together with A Duo.
