In the Dawn Star route of "Light-Dark Traitor," Los was the Dawn Star who slaughtered his way from the depths of darkness to the pinnacle of light, restarted the world, and ended the war.
But aside from Los, the game had another storyline that Ren Suo had never played and could not play: Twilight Scattering Flowers.
Ren Suo had always assumed that since he had not played that route, it naturally would not happen. However, he had forgotten that in games with dual protagonists, the plot was often not "it won't happen if you don't play it," but rather "if you don't play it, it proceeds according to the normal plot by default."
The appeal of these dual-protagonist games was originally that after players cleared the game with one character, they would often have unanswered questions and doubts—unless the plot was exceptionally good. Then, when players went back and cleared it with the second character, they would discover many hidden details and suddenly realize: so that was what happened! Only then could players be considered to have truly beaten the game, unlocked the real ending, and some games even allowed them to upload their save files to help other players...
But "Light-Dark Traitor" had made it clear from the very beginning: if you chose one route, the other would be completely sealed off. So by the later stages, Ren Suo had almost forgotten about the Twilight Scattering Flowers route. He only remembered it during the final settlement, and thought he would probably never get the chance to see that storyline.
Yet now, as Ren Suo looked at Lorifis before him, a
