What, Earth Doesn't Need Us to Protect It?

The forest park covered roughly 1,100 square miles. The world-famous California redwood forests had all been razed. Streams and waterfalls had become trenches, cliffs were fitted with firing points, and the rugged paths once meant for tourists had been flattened into broad roads by road rollers. Small animals were driven out by the roaring sounds of drilling, while the soft glacial soil was excavated and underground defensive fortifications began rising at an astonishing pace.

Trucks moved endlessly, delivering batch after batch of conventional weapons to this earthly paradise. Two Federal Army group commands were stationed here, and with powerful logistics and technology, they transformed Yosemite National Park into a military fortress in mere days.

Although the entire world had suffered Otherworld Invasion, there was no doubt that the enemies and battles encountered by the Federal forces at Yosemite National Park surpassed those anywhere else on Earth. Joint investigations by Federal seers and Xuan Kingdom spatial cultivators had discovered that Yosemite National Park was likely a "relatively weak" point in spacetime.

Space and time were objective, inseparable from moving matter.

In the observations of these Transcendents, space was not anchored to "points in the void," but was inseparable from "actual objects." Matter gave space meaning; space did not contain matter.

Only through the coordinates of matter could the relative coordinates of space be determined. According to this theory, the coordinates defined by Yosemite Park were obvious and easy to find, so enemies from the otherworld would most likely invade Earth through these coordinates.

Although this theory could not currently be falsified in the slightest, war would not wait for them to be fully prepared. Thus, based on this theory, the Federation turned Yosemite National Park into a frontline battlefield, determined
