Great Harvest

The Supreme Sect was immense, nearly covering an entire mountain range. Vast wooden palaces had been built along the slopes, like rough gemstones revealing their precious glow.

Following Old Yunhead, Richard arrived at the Supreme Sect's Scripture Pavilion.

The instant he stepped inside, Richard sensed a "flavor" of history.

Although this enormous pavilion had been well protected by the dragonmen, after the Dao laws were twisted, the formations within the Scripture Pavilion had inevitably suffered damage as well.

Even with the wolfman Daoist maintaining it, many parts of the palace had still decayed and cracked.

The Scripture Depository had nine floors in total. Each floor had been expanded through spatial means, making the space within far greater than its exterior suggested.

The moment he entered, Richard saw endless wooden bookshelves and bamboo slips made from all manner of materials.

Old Yunhead glanced at the shelves, then turned sideways and introduced them to Richard. "Sect Master, most of what is stored here are Dao laws created by the Supreme Sect's sages throughout the generations, along with their experiences and insights into cultivation. But now, these things that were once the most precious have instead become the most useless."

Richard nodded slightly and casually drew over a bundle of bamboo slips.

Once the slips were opened, the characters upon them seemed to come alive, blending and merging across the surface until they finally formed a script nearly identical to Dao Script.

"Information transmission?"

"Yes, my lord. All bamboo slips in this Scripture Pavilion are like this."

"So there are books here that aren't bamboo slips?"

"Indeed. Please follow me this way."
