A palm-sized communicator on the table began to vibrate, the words "Control Bureau" flashing across its screen.
"Hmm?"
A hand picked up the communicator and pressed the answer button.
"Anderson, what is it?"
"Sir Richard, we've discovered something strange here and need your assistance."
"Something strange?"
"Yes. It's a crystal sphere. According to the information we have, it's a relic left behind by an ancient dynasty known as the 'Supreme Being.' But based on our experts' observations, this thing does not appear to be a creation of our technology."
"...The Supreme Being!?"

Richard's brows furrowed slightly. The communicator in his hand had already been crushed into a lump of scrap by his loss of control.
"I didn't expect to run into a relic of the Supreme Being here too."
