Richard waved his Staff, and a Sun's Gaze destroyed the mayfly wormhole beside the Expedition Nest.

Theoretically, he could have used this wormhole as a passage to swiftly invade the world on the other side. But who knew whether a Level Five Mayfly King was guarding it?

And in his current state, let alone a Level Five Mayfly King, even a Level Four Mayfly King would beat him until he fled with his head in his hands.

With the wormhole destroyed, Wilderness World had, for the moment, returned to Wizard Civilization once more.

But Richard knew this was only temporary.

This world's coordinates had already been exposed. If the Star River Mayflies wished it, they could invade again at any time. It would merely cost them a little more time.

"No matter what, I fulfilled my duties as Commander-in-Chief. Even if they invade again, that's a matter for the future."

Richard smiled with a touch of self-satisfaction, then began clearing out the remaining Star River Mayflies within the world.

After all, only a small number of mayflies could make cross-world jumps. At present, there were at least a billion Star River Mayflies in this world, along with an unknown number of hundreds of millions of Star River Mayfly eggs.

Once they confirmed that the Mayfly King was dead and Richard had survived, the Star River Mayflies did not entertain any delusions of using the Insect Tide to temporarily contend with Richard.

As a civilization themselves, the Star River Mayflies understood all too clearly the gulf between themselves and a World Lord of Civilized World.
