In the Sea of Souls, a massive soul manifestation resembling a whale spoke to Richard.
Opposite him, Richard's soul had manifested as a gigantic octopus. Its main body bore a crudely drawn face, making it as comical as the anthropomorphic animals in cartoons.

The area where Richard and Soul Crown were located was the deep-sea region of the Sea of Souls. Ordinary souls could scarcely dive down to this region.
Only Dominators, or beings like Richard who had condensed a Dimensional Prototype, possessed enough power to reach this place.

Aside from outsiders like them, many indigenous inhabitants lived in this deep-sea region.

As they chatted and laughed, the enormous whale manifested by Soul Crown swallowed a school of tiny fish glowing with ghostly green fluorescence.
