"What Titan am I?"
Richard repeated the question, his gaze toward the Titan filled with astonishment.
"You still have your wits? Do you remember where you are? What you were doing?"
The Titan phantom's brows knit slightly.
"What do you mean, I still have my wits? Remember where I am? Are you questioning—"
The Titan phantom was about to retort, but before the words could fully leave his mouth, he fell silent.
His memories told him that he should have been on a battlefield. Before him should not have stood such a strange Titan, but the minions of ten Civilization Devourers.
He suddenly examined himself, and only then did he notice that he no longer had a body. His soul was terrifyingly weakened, almost fallen back to the level of a World Lord.
Fragments of memories flashed through his mind. A moment later, a look of understanding appeared on his face.
"So I was eaten."
He looked at Richard, his eyes filled with the weight of ages.
"Has the war not ended yet?"
"No." Richard shook his head. "The war has begun again."
"Begun again?"
A flash of surprise crossed the Titan phantom's face. Clearly, he had died too early to know that the Civilization Alliance had defeated the Civilization Devourers.
The Miracle Fire blazed fiercely, swiftly burning the Titan Grandmaster's body to nothing and leaving only his soul phantom suspended in the Void.
Richard quietly let out a breath of relief. The soul had not been burned away, which meant it should be pure—the
