Orochimaru’s team arrived at a Resource Planet saturated with Natural Energy, where Chako hoped to advance into the Dharma Body realm. The Akatsuki arrived soon afterward, and both groups prepared to contend for the planet without realizing the Land of Shadow’s spacecraft was hidden nearby.

• Orochimaru watched the calibrated spaceship depart with Sakumo Hatake and the others aboard, while he and Kabuto discussed the likely fight over the Resource Planet.
