"They're in the reception room. Iruka is teaching them a lesson."
Hearing about a lesson, Charlotte's eyebrows twitched. "What happened?" he asked curiously.
Ginny said a little sheepishly, "Mainly, when a grenade exploded, it almost injured Rock Lee. Iruka is giving them a post-battle summary."
Hearing that Rock Lee wasn't injured, Charlotte didn't say much more. Iruka was a teacher at the Ninja Academy, and it was normal for him to occasionally teach a couple of Genin. Although he couldn't defeat the two of them, Iruka was a Chunin and a teacher.
At this moment, Charlotte took out a notebook from his pocket and said, "Ginny, this is the wax bath recipe Carlos gave me. Experiment with it and see if there are any issues. If not, reserve a room to be used as a recovery room."
Ginny took the wax bath recipe Charlotte handed over. After a brief look, she said, "No problem. I'll get it done as soon as possible."
Just then, Carlos came down with Wesley. Charlotte didn't know how they communicated, but they had recognized each other so quickly.
"Charlotte, the mission to protect Wesley is now over. Thank you for your help this time." As Carlos spoke, he took out the car keys to Charlotte's Porsche Cayenne and said, "Wesley and I are heading back. Here are your car keys."
Seeing Carlos about to hand over the car keys, Charlotte quickly said, "Carlos, this car is for you. It'll be convenient for you to take your son home."
Charlotte didn't want the car at all, which already smelled like sewer rats, so he gave it away.
Hearing Charlotte's words, Carlos didn't refuse. He said goodbye and left. After all, a Porsche Cayenne was only tens of thousands of dollars here, and neither of them cared much about it.
Not long after Carlos left, Charlie and the others had finished cleaning up the room and bid farewell to Carlos and his group.
"Ginny, go call Iruka and the others out. We'll pack up and head to The Continental Hotel tonight."
Since he didn't know if the assassins would launch another surprise attack at dawn, Charlotte planned to take everyone to The Continental Hotel for the night and deal with the bounty tomorrow.
It wasn't because he was afraid of a surprise attack, but because there was no need to be so guarded. Staying up all night for this matter was truly unnecessary.
Soon, Ginny came out with Iruka and the other two.
"Lord Charlotte, good evening," the three greeted Charlotte as they came out.
Looking at Sasuke before him, Charlotte thought of the previous Sasuke fragments and his current ten Ninja Summoning Scrolls. Charlotte felt an urge to draw. Suppressing the impulse, Charlotte greeted them and instructed, "The three of you, pack up. We're checking into The Continental Hotel tonight and will deal with the bounty tomorrow."
The group simply packed a few changes of clothes and then drove to The Continental Hotel. Along the way, Sasuke glanced at Ginny in the car, appearing as if he wanted to say something but ultimately remained silent.
The group encountered no further assassination attempts and safely arrived outside The Continental Hotel. Upon entering, they saw several assassins sitting in the executive hallway. Seeing Charlotte and his group arrive, their eyes held curiosity and greed.
Especially this group, a combination of a woman, a child, and an Asian, was the epitome of weakness. Although they had heard that the previous waves of attackers had all failed, they were still full of confidence in themselves.
Their gazes were filled with aggression. Only when their eyes met Charlotte's did their pupils contract.
Charlotte's reputation did make them quite wary. However, if they couldn't kill Charlotte, trading the lives of the others for the bounty seemed like a good idea.
Charlotte paid no mind to their gazes, partly because he believed in his own strength, and partly because he believed these people would abide by The Continental Hotel's rules.
Arriving at the hotel's front desk, Charlotte took out five gold coins and placed them on the counter. "Charon, check us in, five rooms next to each other."
At this moment, Ginny leaned gently towards Charlotte and said softly, "Charlotte, aren't you considering four rooms?"
Charlotte didn't answer Ginny. Instead, he emphasized to Charon again, "Five rooms, Charon!"
Seeing that Charlotte wasn't taking the bait, Ginny found it uninteresting and said no more. After taking the room cards from Charon, she went upstairs first.
Seeing Ginny return to her serious demeanor, Charlotte smiled silently and said nothing. He picked up his room card and headed upstairs.
"Uninteresting!" Sasuke Uchiha muttered, picked up a room card from the front desk, and headed upstairs.
Iruka shrugged and said to Rock Lee, "Let's go, Rock Lee. We need to go upstairs and rest too."
He then picked up the cards for the last two rooms and went upstairs with Rock Lee.
Upon arriving in his hotel room, Charlotte's first act was to take a bath. After all, he had shared a car with rats and then engaged in a killing spree, so there was still quite a bit of blood and dust on him.
After a good wash and changing into his pajamas, Charlotte was about to access the system interface when the doorbell suddenly rang.
"Golden Secretary, you really can't stop thinking about me, can you?" Charlotte quipped.
Opening the door, he found not Ginny, as he had assumed, but Sasuke Uchiha.
"What is it? Come in," Charlotte said.
Sasuke didn't stand on ceremony. He walked directly into the room and sat down in a chair.
Charlotte glanced at the hallway and, seeing no one else, closed the door and asked, "Sasuke, what do you need me for?"
Sasuke looked at the man before him, bit his lip, and then said, "Lord Charlotte, can you revive my parents in this world?"
Hearing Sasuke's words, Charlotte was taken aback. Looking at the person before him, he suddenly remembered that the manifested Sasuke was still a child, only 12 years old. Even with the time spent in this world, he was no older than 13.
Furthermore, he was a child who had experienced the clan massacre only a few years prior. In that instant, Charlotte felt a pang of emotion. He stepped forward, patted Sasuke's hair, and then sighed, "Sasuke, I can't make any promises." "Perhaps soon, I'll be able to bring your clan to this world. Or it might take a very long time."
Sasuke was startled by Charlotte's action but didn't dodge. Tears of hope welled up in his eyes.
He missed his parents and his clan, but he did not miss his brother, Itachi Uchiha.
Hearing Charlotte's words, Sasuke immediately stood up and knelt on the ground, performing a standard dogeza. "Please, Lord Charlotte."
After speaking, Sasuke stood up and ran out of Charlotte's room.
