Charlotte Agency had a peaceful night.
Early morning.
Ding-in successful, gained 200 Reputation Points!
Seeing another 200 Reputation Points added to his account, Charlotte Doyle nodded in satisfaction. He now had 8296 Reputation Points, not far from ten thousand.
Walking out of the room, Charlotte Doyle, holding a bottle of Bourbon Whiskey, headed towards the recovery room.
Upon arriving at the recovery room, Charlotte saw that in the three newly built cement bathtubs, John Wick was completely encased in wax in the leftmost one, with only his face exposed.
Hearing footsteps, John Wick immediately woke up alertly. However, with his face wrapped in wax, he couldn't open his mouth to speak, only managing to make "Mmm, mmm" sounds.
Seeing John awake, Charlotte walked over and asked, "John, are you alright?"
Hearing Charlotte's voice, John Wick stopped struggling with his face.
"I feel much better, just a bit thirsty."
As John spoke, the wax on his face began to crack, with some even falling towards his mouth.
Charlotte cleared the wax off John Wick's face and said, "Here, have some water."
He then unscrewed the Bourbon Whiskey he had brought in, poured a small glass, and fed it to John Wick.
As the alcohol went down his throat, John felt much better and said, "Thank you, this is my favorite Bourbon Whiskey."
"What is this wax bath?"
Charlotte set the Bourbon Whiskey aside and sat beside John, explaining, "This wax bath stimulates white blood cells and accelerates the recovery process."
"Here, bruises, cuts, and fractures can heal in a matter of hours."
Hearing this function, John Wick was shocked and stammered, "This, this, it's too powerful!"
"With this, ordinary injuries are no longer a concern."
Especially cuts and fractures healing in a few hours – the effect was too exaggerated. Even if an assassin suffered a severe injury, they could recover the next day and continue fighting.
John was amazed that Charlotte possessed such a remarkable item. He knew that even Winston of The Continental Hotel, or even the higher authority of the High Table, didn't have anything comparable.
Charlotte shook his head, however, and said, "While this is good, it can only treat external wounds. If one is shot in a vital spot by a handgun, there's no way to save them."
John Wick wasn't disappointed at all upon hearing that vital wounds couldn't be treated. To him, the wax bath was already perfect.
With this, John Wick had even more confidence in Charlotte Doyle's ambition to become one of the Thirteen Seats of the High Table. The wax bath alone could bring Charlotte immense profits and subordinates.
"Charlotte, this thing is already perfect, its functions are too powerful."
Charlotte smiled, not discussing the topic with John further. Instead, (he) spoke, "Alright, I'm heading out. Once the wax bath melts, you can get ready to come out. I'll be waiting for you in the Training Room."
The Continental Hotel.
A Black Mercedes-Benz Car stopped at the hotel entrance. A tall woman, wearing a black overcoat, black boots, and even black nail polish, with short hair, carrying a black briefcase, stepped out of the car.
(She) walked towards The Continental Hotel, exuding a capable and cold aura. (She) quickly arrived at the hotel's Service Desk.
Charon looked at the woman approaching the Service Desk and said, "Welcome to The Continental Hotel. How may I help you?"
The woman took out a Gold Coin representing the identity of an Arbiter and slowly pushed it towards Charon with two fingers. (She) didn't speak the entire time, just stared at him.
Charon picked up the Gold Coin from the Service Desk, examined it carefully, then placed it back on the desk. (He) picked up the Desk Phone and dialed the intercom. When the call connected, (he) directly said, "Sir, an Arbiter wishes to see you."
"Understood, sir."
Charon hung up the phone and respectfully said to the Arbiter in front of (him), "The Manager is in the Lounge."
The Arbiter glanced at Charon, put away the Gold Coin representing (her) identity, and still without a word, walked towards the Lounge.
Winston arrived at the Lounge and looked at the Female Arbiter standing there, saying, "I'm guessing you're here to talk about John Wick."
"If that's the case, we can make this quick."
"I told him to turn around and leave, and he refused. That's the whole story."
The Female Arbiter walked up to Winston and stated directly, "Mr. Wick broke the rules."
Winston nodded and replied, "Yes."
"I have no knowledge of his whereabouts..."
Before Winston could finish, the Female Arbiter interrupted, "You misunderstand. I'm not here for Mr. Wick."
"I'm here because Mr. Wick broke the rules within this hotel. There was a death at The Continental Hotel."
"Correct?"
Winston replied with a heavy tone, "Correct."
"In fact, the body is within these walls, and it's getting colder."
The Female Arbiter stared at Winston, her expression calm, "I'd like to see it."
Winston nodded and led her to where Santino Antonio's body was being kept.
The two walked all the way to the Incinerator. On the conveyor belt lay the body of Santino Antonio.
The Female Arbiter looked at the body above and said to Winston, "Santino Antonio, a new High Table member, was killed by Mr. Wick while seeking refuge at The Continental Hotel."
Then, she leaned down and stared at the fatal Wound on Santino Antonio's forehead, saying, "It appears he died from a .45ACP round fired from an automatic pistol."
After confirming the cause of death, the Arbiter stood up and looked at Winston.
Meeting her gaze, Winston explained, "I couldn't control Mr. Wick's Behavior."
The Arbiter retorted, "Yet he's still alive because of your decision, correct?"
Winston calmly admitted, "Correct."
Seeing Winston's admission, the Arbiter continued, "You and Mr. Wick have known each other for many years. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say you're friends, would it?"
"He killed Santino Antonio right in front of you, and you chose to stand by and let him go."
"Instead of stopping him or killing him."
Hearing the Arbiter's words, Winston immediately sensed trouble and quickly said, "I excommunicated him from The Continental Hotel."
The Arbiter didn't let up, continuing, "But you still gave him an hour's head start."
