Awakening

Outside S.H.I.E.L.D.'s temporary studio.

"Attention, all units. Attention, all units. The target is about to wake up. Everyone, prepare."

Yakushi Kabuto looked at Grant Ward beside him, a gentle smile on his face. "Captain, I heard Agent Coulson worships Captain America. Why didn't he come with us today?"

Ward shook his head. "I don't know. He probably has some other mission."

"What about you, Captain?"

Ward smiled. "No one doesn't admire that former superhero. We all grew up reading his comics and watching his cartoons."

"Back then, the school even organized trips to the Captain America Memorial. But now, I'd rather surpass him one day and become an even stronger super soldier."

Yakushi Kabuto blinked. "Captain, as long as you can get a Physical Enhancement Serum, you'll be able to surpass Captain America. Maybe you'll be the new S.H.I.E.L.D. captain."

What Ward was thinking, however, was: No. I'm already a Hydra captain now.

But Ward only looked a little downcast. "That thing is too rare and too expensive. I might not get the chance."

Then, after glancing at her watch, she corrected herself. "Sorry, I should say good afternoon."
