Seeing Thor appear, Jane ran over in excitement and threw her arms around him.
Thor released Jane and asked, "Where did you go? Heimdall couldn't see you."
Jane shook her head. "I don't know either, but when I woke up, I was back where I'd been."
Then she asked in return, "Where did you go? You promised you'd come see me at least once a month."
Thor explained, "After the Bifrost was shattered, the Nine Realms were full of wars and bandits. I had no choice but to go put down the unrest, but all of that is over now."
"From now on, I will keep my promise."
"I believe fate brought us together."
As they spoke, the two of them were about to kiss again.
"Ahem!"
At that moment, Charlotte appeared beside them and interrupted what they were doing.
"Shouldn't you deal with the police over there first? That young man should be one of yours, right?"
Jane looked at Ian, who was being questioned off to the side, and immediately ran over, saying to Thor, "Wait for me."
Watching Jane leave, Thor looked at Charlotte and said, "Charlotte, long time no see."
"What happened here that could actually bring you here?"
Charlotte shook Thor's hand, then said with a serious expression, "Jane disappeared earlier. For a full five hours."
Hearing that, Thor's expression grew grave. He asked, "Where did she go?"
Charlotte glanced at Thor and was just about to speak when a red light suddenly swept toward everyone.
Thor turned and shielded Darcy beside him, while Charlotte blocked the attack with Merlin's Robe.
Seeing Jane collapsed on the ground, Thor immediately ran over.
"Jane."
"Thor."
Thor helped Jane up from the ground and asked with concern, "Are you all right?"
Jane asked in confusion, "What just happened?"
