Odin's Energy Clone entered, carrying Gungnir.
The sight of his wife unharmed brought him a rush of relief. As long as no one had been hurt.
Thor hurried to Frigga's side and asked anxiously, "Mother, are you hurt?"
The enemy's strength had shaken him. If they had arrived a moment later...
Frigga took Thor's hand and reassured him. "Thor, I'm fine."
"You should thank Charlotte. He just saved me from that enemy."
"If not for him, I really would have been in danger."
Thor turned to Charlotte. "Thank you, my friend."
Jane cautiously stepped out from behind the barrier and stood quietly to one side.
Odin approached Charlotte, his expression solemn. "Thank you."
Only then did he go to Frigga and embrace her. "I'm so glad you're all right."
On his way there, Odin's clone had sensed that something might happen to Frigga. He had even brought Gungnir rather than leave it with his real body.
Fortunately, Charlotte had been there to hold off the enemy and protect his wife.
Frigga appreciated her husband's and son's concern, but she still said:
"The enemy came for the Aether. Jane was their target."
"We're safe here, but Odin, you need to find out why the Royal Palace's defenses failed. And those enemies—wasn't Malekith dead?"
Odin glanced at Jane, then nodded.
"Since you're safe and the enemy has withdrawn, I'll assess the damage from the attack and investigate the defenses."
Frigga nodded. "The people of Asgard need you."
Odin left with Gungnir.
Charlotte and Thor left Frigga's chambers as well. It would not have been appropriate for Charlotte to remain there.
The Dark Elves had come for the Aether, but their attack had still caused considerable damage.
Even so, Charlotte had saved Frigga. Whatever the losses, Odin and Thor could bear them.
