Coulson's Helicarrier returned to base.

Simmons said, "Maybe he's the only one who can operate this thing."

"We've seen other alien substances recognize organisms or DNA."

Coulson turned to Simmons and said, "Have Fitz check that case. If that guy was telling the truth, we may finally have found the answers we wanted."

Coulson, Mei, Hill, and Prit brought Kava with them to a room.

Coulson held Kava's short staff in his hand, examining how the object was used.

Hill looked at Kava and said, "Come clean about how the short staff works, Kree."

Kava looked at Hill and said, "I have a name."

Then he looked at the short staff in Coulson's hand and said, "It only works properly in my hands."

Mei said mockingly, "How convenient."

Kava explained, "There's a dial on the bottom of it."

As he spoke, Vaka moved closer to Coulson, launched into a swift three-hundred-and-sixty-degree spinning kick, knocked the short staff out of Coulson's hand, caught it in one grab, then used it to strike Sif and restore her memory.

The instant the memory was released, Kava let go of the short staff, allowing it to fall to the floor, and raised both hands.

The sudden scene left everyone stunned. Kava then said, "Sorry."

"Words are useless. Seeing is believing."

Coulson looked at Sif and said, "Are you back?"

Sif nodded and said, "Yes, my memory has returned."

"I am Lady Sif of Asgard, a friend of S.H.I.E.L.D."

After saying that, Sif went up and punched Vaka in the face, nearly knocking him to the ground.

Coulson hurried over to stop the two of them. At least Vaka had already proven he posed no harm.

Vaka stood up, worked the muscles in his face, then looked at Sif and said, "Asgardian. No wonder."
