The castle had been built atop a steep cliff, surrounded on all sides by icicles. There was no path up, and ordinary people had no way of reaching the castle above. Selene nodded. She immediately took out a dagger, leaped more than ten meters in a single bound, then drove the dagger into the cliff face, using the force to spring high into the air again.
The three ninjas, however, had Chakra attached to the soles of their feet. Even the steep cliff was as easy as flat ground beneath them.
Before long, the four of them arrived at the castle gates. Selene stepped forward and gave the doors a light push, and they opened at once.
She led the four inside. Looking at the bonfires lit all around, yet not seeing a single Vampire, Selene asked in confusion, "Where did everyone go?"
Maruboshi Kosuke smiled and said, "They're all watching."
Just then, a woman in white wizard robes, her head full of silver hair, suddenly appeared in front of the four of them. Seeing the Vampire who had appeared, Selene said, "I came to enter the Sacred Land and awaken, not to fight."
