"You... how??"
Zhong Yi stared at Tombat in utter shock, his hands unconsciously stopping as he crafted a Pal Sphere.
But Tombat kept working, its face serious as it shaped the Pal Sphere.
Watching the Pal Sphere's crafting progress climb, Zhong Yi finally became certain.
Tombat really could make Pal Spheres!
"What else can you do?"
"Meow, meow, meow?"
"Could every Palworld creature make Pal Spheres?"
Zhong Yi's interest was piqued.
Suddenly, going out to catch more Palworld creatures did not seem quite so tempting.
He tried releasing Lamball and Peckipeck in turn.
Lamball helped craft Pal Spheres too, but Peckipeck could not.

Zhong Yi's eyes lit up. He had found the answer.
Tombat and Lamball both had the handiwork ability, but Peckipeck did not. That was why Peckipeck alone could not craft Pal Spheres.
"Then what are Peckipeck's gathering and ranching abilities for? Wait, I've got it..."
Realization struck Zhong Yi. At level five, he had unlocked the Livestock Ranch crafting recipe. It clearly had something to do with work abilities.
He hurriedly hammered away alongside Tombat, built the Livestock Ranch, then placed a Peckipeck at the base.
Sure enough, Peckipeck scurried into the ranch and settled into a corner.
Before long, an egg appeared beneath it.
"Interesting. This is too interesting!"
As though a door to a new world had swung open, Zhong Yi discovered another crucial feature of Palworld: its creatures could help not only in battle, but with building a base!
