"Good grief, that cutscene was so long, it nearly put me to sleep!"
Mu Yawen yawned and stretched as she rose from the ground, rather matching Wolf's current condition.
"What's this? A letter? Is there anything else, like a sword...?"
Without even looking at it, Mu Yawen put the envelope into her Backpack. She glanced around, found no weapons, and only then began searching halfheartedly for a way out.
Climbing out of the dry well along its stone wall, Mu Yawen immediately spotted a lantern burning at the end of the narrow mountain path.
"Someone's there!"
Mu Yawen's eyes lit up, and she hurried along the narrow mountain path into the Waterway Castle.
"They have health bars! Let's fight!"
After watching such a long cutscene, Mu Yawen excitedly rubbed her hands together.
In the original game, players who had yet to obtain a weapon could not attack at this point.
In the Illusion Realm, however, Lu Ze had expanded their freedom somewhat.
They could fight with their fists even without a sword.
Still, as the saying went, an inch longer was an inch stronger. In a world with martial power this low, the outcome of pitting fists against blades was easy to imagine.
Of course, Mu Yawen would never bother imagining it.
"Come on! Let's have a good fight!!"
Mu Yawen made no attempt to hide. She stood up in plain sight and ran toward the soldiers on guard, laughing heartily.
"How did he wake up?!"
"Bastard! Catch him!!"
Facing enemies closing in from all sides, Mu Yawen remained unhurried, her eyes brimming with fighting spirit.
"My swordsmanship may be cut off, but we Body Cultivators still have our understanding of combat!"
"I may not have a sword, but I know a little about
