In the afternoon, with nothing better to do, Luo Chuan came to Sainia.
The opening of the Grand Flower Expo last night had not left much of an impression on him.
The fireworks had been quite nice. Other than that, there had only been people.
The central square and the surrounding streets had been packed shoulder to shoulder, no less crowded than a train station during the Spring Festival travel rush.
It seemed that after the opening ended, the fervor of Sainia's residents had finally died down somewhat.
Walking down the street, Luo Chuan looked at the buildings and pedestrians on either side and could not help thinking to himself.
There were still plenty of pedestrians on the streets, but they no longer had the wild, celebratory air of last night.
The Grand Flower Expo would last for several days. It had only just begun.
"Spring Festival..." Luo Chuan muttered softly, an inexplicable trace of nostalgia rising in his heart.
After their break ended, Aihard resumed his guard duty, dragging Hermann out of the room as well, where he had been loafing around for quite some time.
"I'm saying, wouldn't it be enough for you to keep watch here yourself? Why did you call me along?" Hermann said as he tidied his hair.
"You can't just take the money without doing any work, can you?" Aihard simply could not stand seeing this fellow with nothing to do. "All that pay isn't for you to sit in the room drinking flower tea."
"Fine." Hermann sighed helplessly. As a detective, running around was already the norm. Adding patrol duty to the setting was no big deal.
For the next while, Aihard explained their assigned task. It was simple: patrol the streets and see whether anything unexpected happened.
