He knew more or less about Luo Chuan's identity. To be able to write such a story, Luo Chuan had likely witnessed something similar firsthand.
The others also grew interested, waiting expectantly for Luo Chuan's next words.
"I haven't encountered it myself." Luo Chuan shook his head, then changed the subject. "But there are countless worlds in the void. Perhaps such a world really does exist."
"The void? What's that?" Meng Changkong looked utterly perplexed. It was the first time he had heard the name.
"Hmm... simply put, it is the birthplace of all things." After thinking for a moment, Luo Chuan explained, "Worlds are born within the void. The void represents absolute nothingness, containing every possibility and impossibility."
That was roughly what it meant. Luo Chuan explained it in simple terms.
"Did you understand that?" Bu Lige nudged Jiang Shengjun's arm. The two of them were wide awake now, with no desire to sleep at all, so they had simply come over to join the excitement.
"Nope." Jiang Shengjun shook his head. He was equally lost.
"This void sounds really impressive," Gu Yunxi said quietly.
Being awed without understanding it—this was probably the most accurate portrayal of everyone after hearing Luo Chuan's explanation. They did not understand it, but it somehow still sounded immensely profound.
"The void..." Meng Changkong was unusually quiet.
"Also, the world I'm talking about may not be the same concept as the world you have in mind." Luo Chuan looked at Meng Changkong. "What does a world look like to you?"
"A world? Isn't Tianlan Continent a world? Oh, right, the sea regions have to
