Luo Chuan briskly made his way up the stairs and soon arrived at the kitchen on the second floor.
Before he even entered, he heard bursts of chaotic noise coming from within.
Was Yao Ziyan planning to tear this place down?
Though given her strength, she probably could not do something like that.
The entire Origin Mall was under the system's protection. Let alone Yao Ziyan at the Venerable realm, even a Saint would be completely helpless here.
Although the system could be rather unreliable in certain respects, its security was truly beyond reproach.
If the Origin Mall ever went out of business, it might not be a bad idea to turn it into a safe deposit vault...
Lost in wild thoughts, Luo Chuan arrived at the kitchen entrance. There, he saw Yao Ziyan, wearing an apron, using spiritual energy to control several rag-like objects as they swept over all manner of utensils.
"What are you doing?"
"Oh, Boss, you're here." Yao Ziyan turned to look at him and replied in a perfectly matter-of-fact tone, "Cleaning. No one has been here for so long, so of course it needs to be cleaned."
Ordinarily, that was true enough...
After weighing his words for a moment, Luo Chuan said, "Actually, I don't think that's necessary."
As he spoke, he casually wiped a hand across the nearby doorframe. Yao Ziyan apparently had not cleaned that spot yet, but not only was there no grime on his palm—not even a speck of dust had stuck to it.
The entire Origin Mall remained spotless and as good as new at all times.
"I know." Yao Ziyan nodded. "But I just wanted to clean it. Um... according to you, Boss, this is called a sense of ritual, right?"
Luo Chuan: "..."
Fine. Do whatever you want.
