Shinkai Seiko had gotten up fairly early. There were not many pedestrians on the streets, so she was in no hurry, leisurely making her way toward Origin Mall with the mindset of taking a stroll.
As she passed Yuan Gui's Shop, she bought a freshly made breakfast. Bu Lige, who was helping out there, still remembered her. These days, Bu Lige was no longer quite so conflicted about when to go to Origin Mall—though, of course, the earlier she could get there, the better.
It was still the familiar alley. It seemed that even if the world were turned upside down, this place would remain as it had always been, untouched by anything.
