Luo Chuan glanced toward the counter. Su Nan seemed to be getting along well with Yao Ziyan and the others, and the smile on her face was no longer the merely surface-level one she had worn when they first met.
"Is this your pet?" Yao Ziyue curiously poked the Spirit Beast on the table. Because of her bloodline, she possessed a natural affinity for creatures such as demonic beasts.
"Pet... I suppose not." Su Nan recalled how she had met the Spirit Beast. "I just happened to come across it in the forest, and then it decided to follow me."
"Oh, so that's how it was." Yao Ziyue nodded. "Does it have a name?"
"No," Su Nan answered.
"Then give it one. It's so inconvenient without a name," Qing Yuan said casually.
Su Nan thought for a moment, then her gaze suddenly fell upon a message on her Magic Phone. "I'll call it Xiao Qing."
"Isn't that a bit too casual? Aren't you going to think about it some more?" Qing Yuan complained. "And it kind of feels like you're calling me."
Su Nan froze for a moment. She had not considered that.
"But it's fine. There are plenty of people in the world with the same name. I was just saying," Qing Yuan said magnanimously.
"At least it's much better than the names Luo Chuan comes up with." Yao Ziyan glanced at Luo Chuan. Little Black Ball, Chimera—what kind of bizarre names were those? She simply could not fathom Luo Chuan's thinking.
"Uh, I guess that's true." Qing Yuan also looked toward Luo Chuan.
Perhaps sensing their gazes, Luo Chuan looked toward the counter in confusion, then went back to reading his Magic Phone.
"Alright, from today onward, your name is Xiao Qing." Yao Ziyue poked the Spirit Beast
