Elizabeth wanted to uncover the truth behind it all. There was no particular reason—she was simply curious.
Whether the world survived had nothing to do with her. Ever since becoming a lich, she had lived for a very, very long time. Perhaps dying would not be a bad choice either. She was also somewhat curious about what the world after death looked like.

"Where did you hear that saying?" Ruoye asked curiously.
"From the owner of Hearthstone Tavern. When I went there before, he was discussing something with others, and I happened to hear it," Elizabeth said.
