From Ausia, Koya learned about the boss's past.
Beneath that mysterious, powerful exterior, there was actually a side unknown to others. The boss had opened shops elsewhere too, but it seemed that poor business was why he had come to Steel City.
In fact, this was a perfectly normal and reasonable thing to do.
For a merchant, if business was bad, changing locations and opening another shop was completely natural. Basically everyone would do that.
But when it came to the boss, everything somehow became subtle, leaving Koya's heart full of countless words that he simply could not say, an unbearable feeling.
When a warning of excessive core temperature appeared before him, Koya stopped thinking about the matter.
Whatever the boss did was reasonable. There was no need to think so much about it.
That was right. Exactly.
Actually, Koya still had several questions he had not asked, such as the Underground Creature, the reason behind the upheaval in Chaos Land, and the Tide Commander's mission in Steel City...
Once Ausia and the others had settled down here, the other Elder Council members could ask them.
Koya knew that he had not put many skill points into conversation. If he said something wrong and caused consequences he could not bear, that would be troublesome.
"This is the place."
Koya stopped walking.
"Hearthstone Tavern." Ausia looked at the sign beside the door and gave a soft laugh. "The boss was finally willing to put up a sign for his shop this time."
"The previous shops didn't have one?" Koya asked.
"More than that. If you didn't go inside and take a look, you wouldn't even know it was a shop." Ausia smiled, then walked toward the tavern. "Never mind that for now. I'll go in and have a look first."
The
