BOOM!
An explosion like muffled thunder suddenly rang out, and the ground seemed to tremble faintly.
"What happened?"
"Jeez, that sound... was kind of terrifying."
"Something probably exploded. It wasn't too far away."
"We should be fine here. The surrounding buildings are all protected by magic..."
The brief commotion quickly subsided, and everyone turned their attention back to the movie being shown.
Luo Chuan and Yao Ziyan exchanged a glance, neither of them thinking too much of it.
Steel City did have goblins, though they lived on the outskirts of the city. After all, no one wanted a group of fanatics obsessed with making explosives as neighbors.
Explosions in goblin residential districts were common enough, no stranger than another collapse in a dwarven mine.
Of course, dwarven mines now had an exceedingly low chance of collapsing. Even if one truly did collapse, it would not affect the surface, and would soon be sealed off by all manner of magic.
Naturally, goblins were participating in this city celebration as well.
Who knew what unstable explosives they might bring out? An explosion seemed perfectly normal.
The brief interruption did not cause much of a stir. Everyone simply continued doing what they had been doing, with no time to waste on such insignificant matters.
The movie ended, and the viewers quietly dispersed as new audience members arrived.
Luo Chuan and Yao Ziyan left with the others as well, not intending to spend all their time here.
They wandered about at leisure, browsing everywhere.
Yao Ziyan bought quite a few interesting little trinkets: things that used light to record and store scenery in Origin Crystals, bracelets made from Black Crystal, cloth woven from who-knew-what...
"Are you planning to make clothes too?" Luo Chuan could not help asking.
"Mm... I'll try it first." Yao Ziyan
