The colossal beast howled and roared, raining down tons of lava.
Molten gold seemed to flow through the dragon's eyes. It swung its claws across the Demon Dog's body, trailing waves of flame and drawing pained howls from it.
Of the Demon Dog's three heads, only one remained. The wound looked like a cast steel pillar, with scorching molten iron still surging within.
Anviya was somewhat bedraggled as well, with quite a few charred burn marks appearing on her smooth, beautiful Golden Scale.
But that was all.
Even so, it was enough to awaken the brutality hidden deep within her bloodline.
How could the majesty of an emperor be challenged!
Even if this was merely a game dungeon.
Anviya knew that this was not simply a game dungeon. It represented reality as well!
Dodging the Demon Dog's attack in a flash, Anviya planted both feet heavily into the ground, sinking deep into it. Her two forelimbs clamped tightly around the Demon Dog's neck, refusing to loosen no matter how it struggled.
Sharp claws scraped across her scales, sending sparks flying, while the flowing lava brought waves of searing pain.
The Demon Dog's struggles achieved nothing.
Anviya pulled its head before her and forcibly pried open its hideous mouth.
She took a deep breath, and branch-like cracks spread outward from the center of her pupils.
A blazing white beam burst from her mouth, pouring directly through the Demon Dog's throat and into its body. The particles that made up the Essence of the World changed, endlessly shattering and reforming as terrifying energy erupted.
After only an instant of violent struggling, the Demon Dog's body went completely limp.
Anviya casually tossed it aside, her massive body splashing up rolling lava.
"Cough, cough, cough..."
