Ausia felt as though she had seen the sun.

Not one, but several.

Blinding flashes erupted from the tide of darkness, spreading at tremendous speed and blooming with indescribable radiance, rivaling blazing suns.

The army of infected bodies within the flashes had no chance to resist before being completely vaporized by the extreme heat. Even a thick layer of the ground had been gasified.

Ausia narrowed her eyes, yet still felt waves of stabbing pain.

The flashes had appeared without a sound. There had been no noise throughout the entire process—or perhaps the sound had long surpassed the range of hearing.

Only at the end did a muffled roar sweep over them. The area of the explosions had already been completely cleared.

Ausia could no longer be bothered to investigate the reason.

She had seen too many incomprehensible things in too short a time and had grown numb to them.

Suns... The light vanished and reappeared, continuously sweeping away the army of infected bodies.

Ausia finally sensed that something was off.

Could it be...

They had come for her?

She vaguely saw several colorful figures, clearly out of place among the infected bodies, lingering at the edge of the dark tide.

Ausia had just widened her eyes to make out what they were when another flash blinded her. Her eyes turned sore and swollen, and she hurriedly shut them.

Forget it. They looked like they had come to help, though she had no idea who they were.

They certainly were not members who had come to investigate alongside her.

Could they be a race living in Chaos Land? It was not impossible.

After all, the density of Calamity Energy here was far lower than expected. She did not know why, but it did not greatly affect ordinary Transcendents living normal
