The blue halo in his eyes subsided. Stuart rose to his feet and walked to the window.

A mage tower not far from the imperial city was engulfed in roaring Blaze, belching black smoke. People had already begun hurriedly summoning water elementals to put out the fire.

Stuart smiled.

"Our Emperor seems very happy."

A pleasant female voice sounded, yet its owner could not be seen.

Specks of light gathered, forming the slightly illusory figure of a woman. She wore a magnificent, intricate aristocratic gown, her silver hair cascading loose around her, her bare feet hovering in midair. Her face was breathtakingly beautiful.

Stuart did not turn around as he asked with a smile.

The woman drifted over and sat on the windowsill. Turning back, she looked at the city's tangled architecture, where overlapping and interwoven spaces formed a magnificent sight beyond ordinary reason.

"How is it going?" Stuart suddenly asked.

"The same as always." The woman waved a hand rather casually. "Relax, relax. If anything goes wrong with the data, I'll definitely tell you at once."

Before her words had faded, her expression changed slightly.
